Is this a Full Unit or Mini Unit? Entrepreneurship is a Full Unit. Our Full Units are 20 lessons long and designed to take 4-6 weeks to complete. The Student Notebooks from Early Reader and up have 5 pages per day and are designed to cover all your subjects other than math. Mini Units are often shorter in length or in output and while they do have crossover into multiple subjects, they are more focused and intentional on the topic of the unit. They also tend to be more hands-on with less written output. Some families alternate Full Units with Mini Units while others do them alongside one another.
What is this unit about? Entrepreneurship is a unit about big dreams, even bigger faith, and the perseverance needed to walk in your calling. Read the inspirational, motivational stories of 20 different entrepreneurs throughout history who have taken risks and learned hard lessons that led to some incredible rewards, often not only for them, but for others. Start each day with a devotional and finish off your lesson with the kingdom-minded business corner where Rebecca shares insider stories of what it means to sign your business over to God. Middle and High schoolers will tackle some difficult topics with the edgy ethics corner where they will dive into black and white and the sea of grey in between. With opportunities for rich discussion and incredible history, this unit is most likely not what you are expecting. In fact, we are so certain that you are going to love it that we have put together a one day free lesson.
The unit project for Entrepreneurship is to make your own business. Pre-reader students join in the fun by helping Mike and Molly Mouse make good business decisions. Older students will be learning about creating a business plan, market research, legal concerns, and so much more! Our notebooking for this unit is quite different, focusing on personal reflection rather than taking traditional "notes".
The goal behind this unit is not necessarily information, it is adopting a kingdom-minded growth mindset, finding your vision, your drive, and dreaming even bigger dreams than you could possibly imagine. Whether you apply these things to a business or life in general, the principles and character focus on this month will be worth every moment.

Don't miss our add on for this unit! Energy Seatwork Books are available in DIGITAL or PRINT or check out our Seatwork sample below, a complete writing mechanics course with daily copywork, grammar, spelling, and vocabulary.
What should I buy? You can purchase a leveled bundle with one student notebook of your choice and the Teacher's Guide, or the full family bundle that includes all levels with the Teacher's Guide. If you have more than one child you are buying for, it is more economical to get the full bundle to re-use in the future with your kids at older levels. All digital bundles come as an instant download in PDF format for you to print at home.
How long are units designed to last? Each unit is designed to be 4-6 weeks. Our main units and most of our mini units include 20 lessons and can be done as a 4-day school week (lasting 5 weeks) or a 5-day school week (lasting 4 weeks) to offer flexibility. You're in control! Set a schedule that works best for your family and your pace will dictate how quickly you complete any given unit.
