Our Back to School Sale is coming up June 25–29!
It can take up to 1–2 months for us to finish printing and shipping all of the sale orders due to a high volume of large orders as families stock up for the year.
If you want to take part in our sale but need material for the start of your year, we suggest buying a unit or two before or after the sale dates so that you have something on hand while you wait for your sale order.
Orders placed prior to June 24 or after June 30 will be subject to our usual processing time of 5–7 days.
Our Chemistry Experiment Book is designed to be done alongside our Chemistry unit. Each lesson corresponds with a hands-on experiment that is fun and educational for the whole family. It includes a supply list with everything you need!
We have two coordinating Observation Journals to choose from: Level 1 and Level 2. The Observation Journals are like notebooking: scientific method style! With detailed instructions, discussion prompts, and explanations, there's something for everyone in this add-on!
Level 1 is designed for younger students, anywhere between 5-12 years old. This has space for either writing or drawing their observations and following along with the steps of the scientific method in a simple and easy-to-follow way.
Level 2 is more in-depth, having space for them to experiment with both a control and multiple variations, a graphic section to graph the results, a place to record observations and analysis of the data and their conclusions. This level is recommended for strong writers and/or students who are in middle school and up.
What should I buy? Our Chemistry Experiment Book and Observation Journals are available in both print and digital formats. Simply choose the format that works for you: printed and shipped to you, or digital, where you print on your own at home! Please note that there are no refunds or exchanges allowed on digital items.
PRINT Start by choosing a bundle that includes the Experiment Book and Observation Journal (available in Level 1 or Level 2). If you need an additional Observation Journal for another student, simply add an Extra Observation Journal Only in the level of your choice. You can also purchase the standalone printed Experiment Book only if you like.
DIGITAL The digital option includes the Experiment Book, plus Levels 1 and 2 of the Observation Journal for you to print at home.
Check out the Resources: We have resources that go along with our units and include enriching videos, downloads (such as a free reading list) and more. Those are available on our free app below.
