How it works

We are so excited about our brand new Fifty States series that will be releasing over the next two years. A new unit will be released every few weeks and these are organized into a regional color coding system—allowing you to purchase just your state study, your neighboring states, or even an entire region. As we complete various regions, we will be releasing lapbooks for each as well. With fifty units to release, this is a huge undertaking and we have a number of teams who are devoted to making this happen! Units will be released alphabetically and, though they are only 4 lessons (a week long), include 5 pages per day in the student books making them equivalent to a full-unit in output. This means that taking a break from a unit or slipping them in between your regular school year schedule will give you a fun detour without sacrificing your workload or missing anything! If you're needing credits for economics, civics, US history, and more . . . this series is going to be perfect for helping to build a high school transcript!
Illinois

Newest Release: Illinois

Let’s tour the Land of Lincoln. Our destinations include Apple River Canyon State Park, Chicago, and Springfield. As we journey through these fascinating tourist spots, you’ll also learn about the historical ties behind many of them. There’s plenty of nature to attract your eye, from the red feathers of the northern cardinal to the purple, yellow, and white violets that dot the landscape. Our study of this midwestern state also takes a look at how and why its economy has been rooted in soil since the beginning. Student Book activities include mapping, lesson summaries, skyscrapers, the world-famous Bean sculpture, the Transcontinental Railroad, and candy making. Illinois has got something for everyone!
