Join in and discover some of the marvelous features and tourist stops, like Mesa Verde National Park, Pikes Peak, and snowy ski slopes fit for anybody seeking some adventure! You’ll learn about the history of Colorado and how it came to be, well-known symbols that reflect the heart of the people who call it home, and the various weather conditions found across the state’s five different regions. Student Book activities include mapping, lesson summaries, making fudge, the science of skiing, designing a ski resort, and the sinking of the Titanic.
