Earth Science (which is more of an introduction to the many components of Earth Science) is full of hands on experiments and activities such as making your own weather station. Covering weather, landforms, rock cycles, the earth's structure, storms, climates, glaciers, and so much more (swipe left to see a sneak peek). Students are learning how to use a dictionary and thesaurus and will be creating their own science journal to log their adventures!
A bit more technical than some of our other units, I have heard some people say this was their all time favorite and others say they struggled to engage. I recommend looking at the samples and choosing this unit based on your children's interests. If they love everything about storms, weather, experiments, etc. then they are going to love everything about this unit!
