I have always loved the idea of advent but had a hard time finding something that was simple enough that I could be consistent with it. I've tried incredibly beautiful, poetic readings that my kids don't understand nor sit still for. I've tried wrapping up books but then we struggle with fitting them in and are trying to constantly "catch up" when life gets busy. The advent package comes with 25 beautiful cards. The front has a rustic, hand-painted door on it and the back has a scripture for that day. The scriptures are divided into the four "candles" of advent: Hope, love, peace, and joy. The art is stunning and something that will add to your Christmas decor. The options for display are endless: pin them up with clothespins on twine, hang them on a tree, display them on an easel, create an advent book, and more! Once you flip your card over and read your verse, you can read the corresponding devotional in your Advent reading journal. There is a short paragraph reading for each day. The journal is printed with a beautiful kraft cover and is small enough to pop in your purse and bring with you on the go. Running late to a gathering? No problem!
