I am so excited about our North American Birds Cursive Writing Book. This optional add-on notebook is for any child who has not yet learned to write in cursive. It can be added to any unit you are doing to help them learn looping, formation, and the foundational concepts of cursive writing. I (Rebecca) hand-drew all the letters with an arrow-type font so that your child can see the direction of the stroke rather than a bunch of arrows, which can be confusing.
The perfect first step in learning cursive! We walk through all the basics like posture, tilting your paper, pencil grip, and working on not lifting the writing instrument off the page until the end of the line. Your child will have lots of opportunities to practice the alphabet and will enjoy beautiful black and white illustrations, which they will also enjoy coloring.
This is a fantastic place to start children as they begin the process of learning this lost art.
