Music Theory Level 1 is an 18-lesson program that is designed for students with little to no musical experience. It is designed to introduce musical concepts such as tempo, notes, time signatures, dynamics, rests, bars, and more. No matter what instrument you play, or are interested in playing, this is a great book to help get you started understanding how to read music.
Music Theory Level 2 is a 20-lesson program designed for students with at least some musical experience or old enough for a bit more of a challenge (upper elementary+). It goes much more in-depth into keys, notes, scales, and includes regular review.
What should I buy? If you have multiple students, you will need to purchase multiple books. We are also working on an online course to go along with this for students that need more visual help so stay tuned on the Gather 'Round Community app for more details!
