This unit will be 8 lessons long and only has three student books—making it easy to add in without any stress or panic and leaving room for grace. It is literature based and includes 5 unique glimpses at Christmas during a simpler time. These books are readily available at your local library, many of them you likely have on your shelf, or they are easy to find on Amazon. We will also be selling a printed package that includes all of the books together. The first four lessons include the entire book of the Family Under the Bridge, then you will be reading just 1–2 Christmas chapters in Little House in the Big Woods, Little Women, and My Side of the Mountain. The unit ends with the picture book, The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey.
The goal of this unit is to stand against the noise and busyness of the season and focus on what is truly important. We can't wait to get this in your hands! It's going to be an amazing Christmas!
