ESA Scholarship Funds

Use Education Funds forGather ’Round

Gather ’Round curriculum may be eligible for purchase through several ESA, scholarship, and education funding programs. Each program has its own rules, so families are responsible for confirming eligibility before purchase.

How It Works

How your program handles payment

Alabama and Arkansas — your program pays us directly

Add what you need to your cart and choose Scholarship / ESA funds at checkout. You'll get an itemized order confirmation by email. That confirmation is your invoice. Submit it in your ClassWallet account under your student, and your program reviews it.

Two things before you check out, because they're the most common reasons a request gets denied:

Check your available balance first. Funds are usually released in quarterly installments, so what's available today is often less than your annual award. Your order total has to fit inside what's available right now.
Your order total and your ClassWallet request have to match exactly. If they differ by even a dollar, the request is denied rather than adjusted.

Once your program approves and the payment reaches us, we ship. Approval times are set by your program, not by us, and back-to-school is the slowest stretch of the year, so order early if you can.

Arizona, Florida, Idaho, New Hampshire and West Virginia — buy now, claim it back

You don't need to wait on us. Check out normally with any payment method, keep your itemized receipt, and submit it to your program.

Your program sets the rules and the deadline, so check those before you buy. West Virginia families have 90 days from the purchase date.

Don't see your state?

We're not yet able to serve your program. Tell us where you are and we'll email you the day that changes.

Not sure which situation you're in? Your program administrator can tell you, and they're the best source, since the rules change by state and by program year.

Important Notes

What should families confirm before ordering?

  • Gather ’Round is a curriculum provider. ESA, scholarship, and charter rules vary by state and program. Approval in one program does not guarantee approval in another.
  • Families are responsible for confirming that their purchase is eligible before ordering.
  • Gather ’Round does not control ESA approval decisions, reimbursement timelines, or marketplace payment rules.
  • Digital products, memberships, video access, and physical curriculum may be categorized differently depending on the program.

Questions?

ESA funding FAQ

Quick answers to help you request invoices, choose categories, and understand how funding programs may work.

Possibly. Many families use education funding for curriculum and instructional materials. Check your state/program rules and look for Gather ’Round in your marketplace.

Yes. Use the invoice request form and include your state/program and the products you need.

We can include accurate educational descriptions, subject, grade/step, format, SKU, and product category. We cannot mislabel products or guarantee approval.

Some programs allow digital curriculum, online learning, or subscription access, while others treat these differently. Check your program rules before purchasing.

This depends on your program. Some programs allow shipping and taxes; others may not.

In some programs, purchases must be made inside the ESA marketplace. In others, you may submit an invoice for direct pay or reimbursement. Check the instructions for your program.

Gather ’Round provides curriculum and instructional resources. Unless otherwise stated, Gather ’Round is not acting as your child’s accredited school of record. Parents remain responsible for homeschool, private school, ESA, and state reporting requirements.

Most programs count curriculum and instructional materials as an approved expense, and ours lands there. Every program writes its own rules though, so check with your administrator before you buy.

If your state says Approved above, just choose Scholarship / ESA funds at checkout and we'll email you one automatically. Need something adjusted? Email us at support@gatherroundhomeschool.com and we'll take care of it.

Don't panic, this happens and it's almost always one of two things. Either the amount didn't match exactly, or there wasn't quite enough in the account that day. Send us what your program told you and we'll write you a corrected invoice. Just don't resubmit the same one, it'll get denied again and you'll lose another week.

In some states, yes. Check the table above. If yours says Buy today, go ahead and order like any other customer, then send the receipt to your program.

Digital and print both work in most programs. A few have restrictions, so it's worth a quick check with your administrator.

Your program sets the pace, not us, and it really does vary by state and by season. Back to school is their busiest stretch, so give it extra room if you're ordering in July or August.

For anything about your balance, your award, or what qualifies, your program administrator is the right person. For anything about our curriculum or your invoice, we've got you at support@gatherroundhomeschool.com
