Winter Games is a mini unit with a twist, designed to bring the excitement of this worldwide competition right into your homeschool. The Teacher’s Guide includes four lessons meant to be completed in one week, while the Viewing Guide gives your students pages for 20 different events that can be used as you watch the full competition unfold.

In the teaching portion, your family will explore the history and origin of the games, what it takes to host them, and what it’s like to compete at such a high level. Then the fun continues with the Viewing Guide, where students can follow along with 20 exciting sports, learn about the gear, rules, and gameplay, and record the outcomes of the events they watch.

Our Mini Units are often shorter in length or output and are more focused and intentional on the topic being studied. They also tend to be more hands-on with less written output than our Full Units.

This listing is for the printed books. If you prefer a digital option, a digital version is available separately.
