Our Chemistry Experiment Book is designed to be done alongside our Chemistry unit. Each lesson corresponds with a hands-on experiment that is fun and educational for the whole family, and it includes a supply list with everything you need.
To go with the experiments, we have two coordinating Observation Journals to choose from: Level 1 and Level 2. The Observation Journals are like notebooking—scientific method style! With detailed instructions, discussion prompts, and explanations, there's something for everyone in this add-on.
Level 1 is designed for younger students (roughly ages 5–12), with space for writing or drawing observations while following the scientific method in a simple, easy-to-follow way.
Level 2 is more in-depth, with space to experiment using a control and multiple variations, graph results, record observations, analyze data, and write conclusions. This level is recommended for strong writers and/or students in middle school and up.

What should I buy? For print, start by choosing a bundle that includes the Experiment Book + Observation Journal (Level 1 or Level 2). If you need an additional Observation Journal for another student, add an Extra Observation Journal Only in the level you need. You can also purchase the standalone printed Experiment Book only.
