    DESCRIPTION

Human Body is a more technical science unit that is perfect for the budding anatomist in your house. Students will learn about human anatomy and many systems in the body, including nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and more—packed with labeling, hands-on activities, and rich Bible and art connections throughout.

The writing project for this unit is poetry, exploring rhymes, rhythm, syllables, haikus, limericks, and more. Older students also go deeper with more mature topics that can be a great starting point for conversations in your home.

If you have younger kids, the technical talk can feel like a lot depending on age and attention span, so we recommend checking out the sample and adapting as needed. The hands-on activities help mix things up and keep students engaged.

The unit is designed to cover all your subjects (math available separately). This listing is for the printed books. You will need the Teacher’s Guide (required for teaching) and one Student Notebook for each student.
